David Bowie - Fourth Annual Black Ball Concert for “Keep A Child Alive” in New York.

Organized by the Asahi Shimbun newspaper and several other organizations, "David Bowie Is" will run until April 9 at the Terada Soko building in the warehouse district of Tokyo's waterfront area.

The exhibition, which is based on a similar show that was shown at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 2013, features more than 300 items, including original handwritten lyrics by Bowie, album artwork and lots of costumes.

Bowie's music can be heard throughout the exhibit via headphones. The Japan version has an exclusive section dedicated to Bowie's relationship with the country, highlighted by some famous costumes made for the singer by Kansai Yamamoto.
