Poster Contest
Out of the nearly 200 submissions in this year's Poster Contest, 42 finalists were on display in the Exhibit Hall of the Green Valley Ranch Resort.

Registrants were asked to vote once for their favorite poster based on design and overall effectiveness.

First place - and a full-page, four-color advertisement in Pollstar magazine - was awarded to Nederlander Presents for their submission of Velvet Revolver at the Santa Barbara Bowl.

House of Blues Concerts will be awarded a full-page, black-and-white advertisement for its second place poster, The Pixies at Sasquatch! Music Festival.

Third place winner, Nederlander Presents will be awarded a half-page, black-and-white advertisement for it's The Mars Volta at The Greek Theatre poster submission.

Please note: In a first for the Poster Contest, all three award-winning posters were created by one designer - Emek, "The Thinking Man's Poster Artist." Emek also designed last year's first place winner for The Pixies at Santa Barbara Bowl. Check out more of his work at www.emek.net. Well done Emek, we can't wait to see more of your work next year!
