"We are constantly on the prowl for like-minded partners who can help us elevate the fan experience,” said Huka CEO Evan Harrison. “Ticketfly is agile, collaborative, and they care deeply about music – a perfect fit.” Huka produces large-scale destination fests such as Pemberton Music Festival in British Columbia and the Tortuga Music Festival on the beaches of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
The company has also been growing its touring division in recent years and was on the lookout for a ticketing company that could accommodate diverse ticketing packages ranging from very basic to super VIP fan experiences.
“Every Huka event is a world unto itself, with myriad ticket types and special experiences that require an experienced partner with a flexible platform,” said Jeff Kreinik, Ticketfly’s head of festivals. “What’s more, Huka needed an all-in-one solution that could handle ticketing as well as year-round fan communications, digital marketing, and analytics. By working alongside them every step of the way, we’ll create wholly positive fan experiences long before the events even begin and all the way through to their conclusion.”
Ticketfly, which was recently acquired by Pandora, sold more than 16 million tickets to over 90,000 live events in 2014.
