Eastern Europe continues to address its growing importance as a live entertainment destination with yet another conference, after the launch of the East European Music Conference in Sibiu and Mastering The Music Business in Romania this year.

Head organizer Máté Horváth from DDW Music Hungary said, “This event will give organizers and producers of events/venues, from 200 to 200,000 capacity, in this region the opportunity to meet like-minded people.

“The festival and events sector is evolving fast in this region and it is important that we have a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices to keep pace with the rest of Europe and deliver high standards to the incoming international artists and our audiences.”

The first Event Production Forum East takes place on a moored boar in the center of Hungary’s capital Budapest, called A38 Boat. Besides funding from the Hungarian government, the main sponsor of the event is Mojo Barriers.
