The Steve Miller Band is joining forces with Peter Frampton once again for a North America summer tour.

“Music is ethereal it moves back and forth between the past and the future,” the band said in a statement. “I’m very excited to announce that 2018 is our 50th anniversary of recording and touring together as the Steve Miller Band and we plan to travel between the psychedelic through he future with a vengeance.”

The outing kicks off June 12 at The Ford Center in Evansville, Ind. The tour hits cities including New York City, Nashville, Austin, Boston and Los Angeles before wrapping up with two back-to-back shows at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, Wash., Aug. 25-26.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. ET Feb 16.

In addition to playing the opener, Peter Frampton will join the Steve Miller Band onstage for a mid-set jam session.  

The two acts also made a joint-run last summer, which helped Steve Miller Band place No. 127 on Pollstar’s 2017 Year End Top 200 North American Tours chart with an average of 4,192 tickets sold each show and a typical gross of $238,095. Highlights include concerts at the WinStar Global Event Center in Thackerville, Okla., selling 3,442 tickets and grossing $239,420; Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Ore., selling 5,728 tickets and grossing $438,703; and at the Ironstone Amphitheatre in Murphys, Calif., moving 6,564 tickets and grossing $440,820.
