There’s a lot for you to love at Louisville’s Bourbon & Beyond Festival.  Along with lineup toppers like Sting, John Mayer, Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters, Lenny Kravitz, Counting Crows, and David Byrne, the second annual event also offers awesome bourbon and culinary experiences.

Happening Sept. 22-23 at Champions Park in Louisville, Ky., Bourbon & Beyond will also welcome more than 20 notable chefs such as Tom Colicchio, Stephanie Izard, Aaron Sanchez and Ray Garcia.

It’s the onsite experiences that help distinguish Bourbon & Beyond from other multiday music events.  Not only does the extravaganza offer bourbon and culinary workshops, but its Big Bourbon Bar presented by Louisville Courier Journal is the nucleus around which all good things spin, including two  dozen bourbons picked by the festival’s bourbon curator –  author / bourbon authority Fred Minnick, whose Mini Bar Presented by The Bourbon Women Association will showcase potent potable selections like Harfield & Co., MB Roland, Old Pogue, Wadelyn Ranch and Wilderness Trail.

Along with two main stages, The Big Bourbon Bar will include a bluegrass stage curated by The Bluegrass Situation.  Artists appearing on the stage include The Travelin’ McCourys, Billy Strings, Michael Cleveland  & Flamekeeper, Ben Sollee, River Whyless, and Lindsay Lou.

Launched in 2017, the first Bourbon & Beyond drew 50,000 fans and grossed more than $3.3 million.  Bourbon & Beyond is part of Danny Wimmer Presents 10-year plan to “grow bourbon-related entertainment in Louisville.”  Other bourbon-enhanced events include Louder than Life as well as a yet-to-be-announced country music fest, plus a spirits conference launching in 2020.

Tickets, including two-day and one-day general admission, for the second annual Bourbon & Beyond go on sale April 20 at 12 p.m. EDT.  VIP packages are available.  Keep checking Pollstar’s Bourbon & Beyond page for updates.
